The Twin Ring is the ideal partner for the EquiJack. Designed to support loads of up to 30kg, it positions the EquiJack perfectly so that once lifted, the haynet is in the perfect position ready for tying.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: The twin ring must be used in accordance with the instructions provided below.
Incorrect installation or use may result in injury to the user or animal.
Please also read our safety guidance carefully before using your twin ring.
Never tie a horse directly to the Twin Ring

Position the Twin Ring at the desired height. Remember the haynet will hang from the bottom of the two rings. Fix your Twin Ring to the wall of your stable. The Twin Ring must be installed using fixings rated to support the maximum load of 30 kg and attached to a fixed, stable structure capable of safely bearing this load. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the chosen anchor point and fixings are suitable before use.

Before each use always check your Twin Ring for serviceability; checking all parts are in good working order before using.
Clip the EquiJack to the top ring.

The haynet should be hooked 15-20cm below the mouth of the net. Every haynet is different so you may need to place your hook further down the net if you find your net does not lift high enough. The lower down the net you place the hook the higher the mouth of the net will rise.
Ensure the hook goes through both sides of the net so that it lifts evenly and no hay is spilt. If you are unable to place the hook through both sides of the net then tie the mouth of the net shut to avoid hay spillages.
Follow steps 3 and 4 of our EquiJack instructions.

When pulled to the top, your haynet should align with the bottom ring of the Twin Ring. The EquiJack will hold the net in place enabling you to easily tie your haynet.
To protect your horse, in the event they get caught in their haynet, do not tie the haynet directly to the bottom ring as it does not have a breakaway feature. Instead, attach a short length of twine or string (that you know will break under pressure) to the bottom ring then secure the haynet to this twine or string instead of fastening it directly to the ring.
Remove and store the EquiJack as per steps 6 and 7 of the Equijack instructions.
Never leave the EquiJack in the stable with your horse or pony. It must be securely stored away from animals and children.
